One of the things that can happen after discovering your Human Design chart is that you notice that there are a lot of places in your life that “go against” your design.
For example, a projector may notice that they are giving lots and lots of unsolicited advice. Or a manifestor may notice that they are doing what they think they should do instead of initiating with their creativity.
And remembering that your Human Design is a doorway, not a rule book, these things become clues of the places to look within and see where you might be holding onto conditioning.
Conditioning, in practical terms, is all of the places in your life where you are living according to the rules imposed upon you by the world. Or, it could also be places where you have taken on the energy of others, have amplified it, and assume it is yours.
In technical terms, conditioning is the neuropathways in your brain that create habitual patterns of thoughts, feelings, and actions.
The most important part of your Human Design journey is exploring your conditioning and discovering what is actually true for you. This process is called deconditioning.
In the Human Design Map, you’ll learn about your type + strategy, authority, profile, and all four gates of your incarnation cross. You also gain access to leading-edge deconditioning tools that you won’t find anywhere else.
In the meantime…

Here are five tips for the deconditioning process:
1. Spend plenty of time in your own pure aura. I recommend 15 minutes per undefined/open energy center you have but do however much you can. Here are full instructions on pure aura time.
2. Use sound healing to start regulating your nine energy centers. Here are full instructions on sound healing.
3. Intentionally rewire your brain. There is a natural alchemical process that unfolds as be make changes in our lives. When you enter that process with full awareness of what to expect, it makes it much much easier. Here is a full post that talks about that and the essential human design deconditioning skills.
4. Feel your feelings and integrate their wisdom. Your feelings, whether you are defined in your solar plexus or not, are a wealth of information about the way you are living your life. Here are posts on feeling your feelings and accessing the wisdom of your emotions.
5. Look at your human design signature and not self themes on a daily basis. Get really honest with yourself and explore the questions in my post on the human design signatures and not self themes.
And, as always, trust yourself and your inner wisdom as you do. The point of Human Design isn’t to make your life perfectly match your chart. It’s a map to going within and living true to what your inner wisdom tells you.
