Your Human Design is a map to aligning with your higher purpose.
There is a high-frequency potential, a low-frequency potential, and everything in between. By taking action and cultivating habits that are aligned with the higher potential, you naturally align with your higher purpose.
Each part of the chart tells you something different about the habits that are aligned with your highest potential.
Today, I’m going to talk about what that might look like for you if you have defined integration channels in your design.
(I do a deep dive on the mechanics and meaning of all 36 channels and human design circuits in The 36 Channels Guided Course, which is included when you buy your Human Design Map.)
Integration Channels 101
Channels: 10/20, 34/20, 57/34, 57/10
Important Note: Based on the way the bodygraph looks with the integration channels defined, it may appear that 57/20 and 34/10 are part of the Integration Channels, but they are not; they are part of the individual circuit.
In traditional Human Design, it is said that these four channels are the channels that first made us humans rather than primates. These channels are what makes us distinct.
Those with channels defined in the Integration group are here to be very distinct individuals that are focused solely on self-preservation and empowerment. They are here to EMBODY empowerment for themselves.
The Integration channels are self-absorbed, selfish, and focused purely on their own survival needs. While being “selfish” has a bad rap, it is actually what ensures our survival as a species.
High-Frequency Habits for the Defined Integration Channels
These habits apply to all of the integration channels. If you’d like to know more about the habits for each channel specifically, I cover those inside the channel’s course, which is included when you purchase your Human Design Map.
- Foster an environment where you are encouraged to be self-absorbed and self-sufficient.
- Our culture highly values selflessness, which makes these channels highly susceptible to conditioning. This makes it very important for you to integrate shadows around being self-absorbed, selfish, or egocentric. (I teach the tools for integrating shadows in the human design map.)
- Practice mindfulness of the present moment, and do not be convinced that you must plan or reflect. Those things may be necessary on occasion but not the main focus of your life.
If you have defined integration channels and any channels defined in the other circuits, there may be times when you feel conflicted about what is most important.
Your inner wisdom and human design authority will help you determine where and when to focus on other aspects of your energy.
But, it is likely that it will be important for you to bring a “selfish” quality to all that you do.
So, give yourself permission. It is literally your higher purpose.
