The Ajna Center is an awareness center that creates our mental perceptions of the world. It uses the pressure of the “higher inspiration” from the human design head center and processes it to create useful concepts, theories, and ideas.

Learn, studying, researching, formulating opinions, and creating duality as a way of understanding the world is how the ajna operates. It finds language to communicate ideas via the human design throat center and by conceptualizing ideas, it because a source of education for others (aka outer authority).

The ajna center creates our reality through mental perception and shapes the way we think about ourselves, other people, and the world at large.

The gates of the ajna center are:

When the human design ajna center is well-regulated (no matter our ajna center definition)…

We are mentally flexible, unattached to our thinking, and use our thoughts wisely. We see our thoughts and ideas as interesting but do not let them rule our decision making.

We are often taught to make decisions based on the duality that exists in the ajna. Weighing the pros and cons, figuring our which decisions are “better” or “right.” But this ultimately sets us up to ignore the wisdom of our body and soul for decision making.

So, today, I have some affirmation for regulating the human design ajna center by gate. These will be useful no matter whether your ajna is defined or not.

(We all have the whole chart! see my post on the nine human design centers for more details about that.)

Working with Affirmations for the Human Design Ajna center

The way we think about life directly impacts the reality we create.

When we have disempowering beliefs, we feel terrible, take ineffective action, and perpetuate our not-self themes.

But when we cultivate empowering thoughts and beliefs on purpose, we create possibility and a deeper trust in our inner wisdom. We feel better, take more effective actions, and perpetuate our Human Design Signatures.

When you pair these affirmations with actions that match them, you will build a deeper belief that life is full of inspiration, potential, and possibility and in trusting that life is always working itself out.

Here are the steps for working with the ajna center affirmations:

(or, any affirmations)

  1. Think the affirmations, on purpose, by running the sentence through your mind.
  2. Remind yourself to think the affirmations often. Post it notes, phone reminder, etc. are all great ways to do that.
  3. As you go through your days, find evidence that the thoughts are already true, either in your life or in the lives of others.
  4. Notice when you are taking actions that align with the affirmations and when you take actions that don’t.
  5. Connect with your future self – the one who lives according to the affirmations – and pay attention to what they are doing (or not doing) on a daily basis. Be very mindful of what your future self is particularly sticky or triggering situations.
  6. Make note of the “future self” actions are totally doable for you right now. As in, would not have to do much inner or outer work to start doing them TODAY.
  7. Start consistently taking those actions.
  8. Repeat.

As you do those doable future self-actions, your belief will start to automatically build, and your capacity for “doable right now” will expand on its own.

For any places that feel extra “sticky” and like you just can’t seem to take any actions that are aligned with your future self, that is an indicator of energy “blocks.“ I teach you how to heal energy “blocks”, based on your design, in the Human Design Map + Deconditioning Portal.

In those cases, I encourage you to get even “smaller” in what is doable right now. Even if it seems ridiculous and not enough, it is. This is the work that makes outer change inevitable and it is so worth it.

There is so much more where that came from:
