When I started in business 15+ years ago, I had no clue what I was doing. If you would have told me back then that I’d be running a multi-six figure business with a team of amazing people and serving thousands of clients, I’m pretty sure I would not have believed you.
In the early years, success seemed just out of my reach. My conditioning to prove my worthiness became potently clear.
Culturally, it has been hammered into us that credentials, certifications, self-sacrifice, and soul-sucking work is the path. And without the steady paycheck of a 9-5, I got really wrapped up in those ideas.
I gathered a very tall pile of certifications. Read more books, took more trainings, and offered a gazillion “practice sessions” to prove that I had what it takes. I thought that how hard I worked and how much I knew would “make people” see my worth.
But it never worked that way. Like, ever.
I’d get some quick hits of success. A “good” launch here and there. Countless emails telling me how “helpful” I was. A handful of clients who loved working with me.
All feast or famine style.
It was like the harder I tried to prove myself, the more invisible I felt. EVEN when I was consistent with my marketing and did all the things the guru’s told me to do.
What I didn’t understand, though, was that there was an energetic mismatch. And I don’t mean my “vibration” or that I was being “too negative.” I mean that my energy was being directed everywhere except where it actually mattered.
Instead of allowing my innate magnetism to connect with my people, I was performing worthiness. I was wasting energy in pursuit of an illusion. I was burning out from trying to be successful instead of being successful.
Because here is the thing.
Every single person on this planet has something of value to offer. Not because they are worthy or deserving (only the ego cares about that). But because we are wired to connect with others and exchange energy. And everything we need to do that is found through connecting.
But when we are so focusing on proving ourselves, our worth, and our value, the impact we are truly capable of becomes locked inside. It’s like a kink in a waterhose. The energy cannot flow through and the exchange of valuable energy (aka the purpose of money) can’t connect with the right people.
And that’s where so many soul-led entrepreneurs get stuck.
They’re not short on talent, depth, or purpose. They’re short on actual connection.
They’re trying to earn visibility through effort and proof, instead of letting their natural energy move toward the people who are already looking for them.
It’s not a flaw. It’s conditioning.
You were taught that value needs validation. That being seen requires constant proving.
But that’s not how magnetism works. Magnetism happens effortlessly when your chart’s openness meets another’s definition. And the people where this or that piece fits perfectly together, things literally just click. Like an undeniable karmic puzzle.
Those people are out there – right now – looking for you. But they cannot see you when you are hiding behind the mask of conditioned expectations. They aren’t looking for who you pretend to be. They are looking for who you are and the value you naturally bring to their lives.
But you have to allow that kind of natural magnetism to flow. With your words, your knowing, your presence.
When you do that, your energy relaxes. It becomes open for service. Your people will see you.
And when they do, the energy will click. Even when you are having a “bad” day or “low vibes” are haunting you like the grim reaper. And you won’t be able to stop them from buying your thing because it’s exactly what they need and they’ll know it.
Success, the kind that satisfies your soul, is never about proving. It’s about letting yourself be seen by the people who are already looking for you.
You have to become the person that allows for that connection.
