I see you.
You are doing the brave work of breaking free from old patterns that aren’t creating the outcomes you really want.
Those patterns served you at one point in your life. They kept you safe. They ensured your very survival. They saved your life.
But now, you’re going for something far beyond safety and survival.
You are now creating prosperous thriving.
And making those same old choices just won’t work for that. It can’t. That math never adds up.
In the wise words of Albert Einstein, you cannot solve a problem from the same level of consciousness that created it.
We both know this.
And it’s time for you to see yourself in a different light.
It is time for you to look at the parts of yourself that you had to hide in order to be safe and to see them as your greatest strengths.
In the Human Design chart, the gate of your Unconscious Sun is your power tool for doing just that.
Your unconscious sun gate is the place your shadows (aka the part you hide from yourself and others) transform into light.
When you were focused on *just* keeping yourself safe, the places where you felt inadequate became the reason you told yourself that you weren’t loved, accepted, and safe.
In many cases, there is a direct connection with your unconscious sun gate.
But, the truth is, those very parts of yourself are actually what makes you the most radiant. They draw in your fractal like a moth to a flame. When you are truly owning those parts, you become magnetic AF.
Let’s look at mine as an example of what I mean.
I have gate 62.2 in my unconscious sun.
I call gate 62 the Esoteric Translator.
Gate 62 is the capacity to communicate big Truths, especially esoteric ones, with laser-sharp precision. It is the gift of being able to organize complex information into simple, clear methods. It’s the ability to use the exact right words to say that someone needs to hear.
And, well, my guess is that if you’ve hung around here for any length of time, you’ve discovered this about me.
I’ve been credited with healing lifetimes of shame with a single text message. And transforming piles of self-doubt into confidence with one sentence. And clear up decades of confusion with one email.
The number of messages I receive saying that I said exactly what someone needed to hear is truly countless.
But what you may not know is that my way with words is also where I feel my deepest sense of inadequacy.
Yep. You read that right.
I’ve been writing since I was a small child. I had a story published in the local newspaper when I was in the second grade.
Words have been my life. My hotline. My path to sanity.
But, more often than not, I doubt my words.
I ruminate on whether or not I said the right thing.
I fear saying the wrong thing.
I worry that I’m not explaining things right and I’m not being clear enough.
Or I don’t say anything at all because I’m convinced that what I have to say is irrelevant or just common knowledge.
When I was living my life with safety as my only goal, my words were a big fucking problem. My precise, piercing language was too sharp for most. Other people saw the truth and clarity of my words as weapons.
But my words are actually what make me the most radiant. They are the thing that draws you in like a moth to a flame. They are the reason that the map is the potent medicine that it is.
And, so, my words are my gateway into the parts of myself that I am afraid of.
When I’m feeling inadequate with my words, it’s always a sign that there is some fear simmering under the surface. Something about myself that I am afraid to own.
That very fear of my words being wrong is the very medicine my soul needs in order to truly express itself.
It is an invitation to go within and reclaim the power of my words. To say what needs to be said. And to continue to polish the mirror of my heart. And to trust that if my words don’t “land” well with you, it’s simply means that we aren’t on the same fractal.
So, with everything I write and speak, I accept the invitation. I use it as a place of curiosity. A playground where the next layer of inner work reveals itself.
When you’re willing to do that kind of work in your life, it can only become prosperous thriving.
And in that inner work, you discover that safety is actually the ability to be with your wholeness, to see yourself clearly, in all of your shadows and all of your light, and to be present with the breadth of who you really are.
When you know that, deep down in your bones, anything is possible.
So, what are you waiting for? Now is the time.
