Listen. If you are a projector type, you don’t have to go far into the Human Design space to be told that you should be quiet, to only speak when spoken to, or to have a soft and gentle tone.
And here is what I want you to know:
All of that is projected bullshit.
First of all, Human Design does not tell you who you are or give you another set of rules about how you “should” be. That is actually the antithesis of what Human Design does.
Instead, this beautiful system gives you a doorway into self-discovery and a path of relying on your inner authority rather than outside noise. By giving you a set of experiments (aka doors), it helps you unravel your wholeness, layer by layer, one particle of resonance at a time. And when you don’t let even your chart decide for you, it gives you freedom beyond compare.
Because the bigger truth is that who you are cannot be defined with words, descriptions, symbols, numbers, shapes, or colors.
You are the sun, the moon, and the mystery that holds it all up. You are a radiant being of light, walking on earth in a meat suit. You are everything and nothing, all at the same time.
And, from my perspective, when combined with your inner wisdom, your lived experience, and heart-centered intentions, Human Design is a way into Human Design is a way into:
- radical self acceptance
- expanding your capacity for authenticity
- using your energy with precision without a hint of shame.
(That is what you’ll learn how to do inside the map & portal.)
But even more importantly than all of that, when people tell you, as a Projector, how you should be using your energy, it is important to remember the source.
When someone tells you to…
…be quiet…
…to sit in the corner and shut up (yes, there are actual Human Design teachers saying that to projectors, out loud with their whole chest)…
…or that you need to be less “pokey” in your knowing…
….what they are really telling you is that they do not have the capacity to face the demons of their own misalignment.
The very misalignment you can see when you look deeply into them. The very misalignments they are afraid to own. The mistakes, the missteps, the choices that create their frustration, bitterness, anger, and disappointment.
They are not ready to see that. And (unconsciously) think that the solution is for you to be quiet.
Yes, that is why recognition and invitation are necessary. And I’m not telling you to walk around and tell everyone what you can see with no regards for their receptivity. That is a complete waste of your penetrating energy and wisdom.
But, I do say it to remind you that it takes a brave soul to be penetrated by a Projector. And I wholeheartedly encourage compassion for that.
AND, at the same time, recognizing your power for does not mean that you should be soft, gentle, or speak in reserved tones. Should is always code for shame and it has no place in you sharing your genius.
At the end of the day, when you are recognized and invited, your way of delivering truth, wisdom, and direction back into alignment will be unique to you.
Yes, it might be soft. Yes, the tone might be quiet. And, sure, it may be as gentle as the falling snow.
Or, it might be bold. Sharp. And cut to the bone, marrow spilling on the floor with a smirk.
And sometimes, it will vary, depending on the person, the circumstances, and your precise knowing of what’s needed. Today, it’s delivered with a chuckle. Tomorrow, the sharpest knife in the drawer.
Either way, your people need your clarity in the way that ONLY you can deliver it. It’s a soul contract. And it how they will melt the shame of their misaligned choices and create the resolve to move forward with clarity and integrity.
To the people that recognize and invite you, it will hurt so good.
Because, what they will also know is that you see their genius. The possibility that dwells within them. The potential that beckons them from the dark corners of fear, shame, and burnout. Because they know that you are holding their wholeness and have what it takes to guide them into Truth.
Legit.
There is no one tone that is “correct” because you are a projector.
So, if anyone tells you there is, run.
That person will NEVER have the capacity to see your and your magic with any kind of clarity. They do not recognize you and you will never get an invitation from them. When they look at you, they only see their fear of the truth.
And there far are too many people in the world who want you to bring the medicine for you to deal with that kind of bullshit.
